To do that efficiently (and lightning fast!) you need to have two important things:
- A ringtone converter software.
- A PC-to-phone data link cable (serial or usb).
- Use the Google Search box below and
enter a search query like "free ringtone converter" or
"nokia free ringtone converter" or
"ringtones format converter" etc.
- If you canot get a 100% free software - get a trialware program instead.
Try programs like Coding Workshop's Ringtone Converter or Polyphonic Wizard. They are very cool...
- As for PC-to-phone data link cable - this
normally comes standard with your phone. However,
if you don't have it then you can buy it from
Amazon. You can use Google to find it or try
Amazon Search below:
- Lastly - please note that in most cases the quality of
the ringtones generated by "free" converters are
generally not as good as the ones downloaded directly
into your phone from mobile providers (like Ring King Mediaplazza system).
The reason for this is because the ringtones by mobile providers are
normally created or composed using some sophisticated musical
instruments and some special software. The "converters"
are just a reverse engineering process of that.
